INFORMATION TO CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE A PLANNED AUDIT this autumn.
We intend to carry out as many of our planned audits as possible and, in the first instance, the audit will be conducted as planned on site at the facility to be certified according to the planned audit date.
Under prevailing circumstances with covid-19, we at Bureau Veritas have been temporarily granted permission under the regulations (SWEDAC / UKAS) to carry out audits partly or completely remotely. In cases where it is not possible to carry out the planned audit on-site, we will instead consider the possibility of conducting all or part of the audit remotely.
This applies to the standards ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018, ISO 27001: 2017 and ISO 50001: 2018 and the audit types Initial, Recertification, Surveillance 1-5 / Periodic follow-up visits 1-5.
In order to be able to assess whether there is a reason to carry out all or part of the audit remotely and if it is possible to carry out, the auditor will fill out a risk assessment questionnaire regarding the audit and your operations based on the currently established guidelines. After an approved risk assessment, the audit will be able to be performed as planned on the audit date via, for example, Skype, Teams or other relevant program.
We look forward to your feedback to us as soon as possible if your upcoming audit is affected by reduced production or temporary visitor restrictions so that we will have the opportunity to adapt your audit in the best way according to your circumstances.
If so, please contact our planning department (email@example.com).
Contact is important to us at Bureau Veritas so don't hesitate to contact us if you have any doubts or questions.
